This is a geographical selection of the atlas. The list of places is not a description of the legal boundaries of the municipality.

Suojärvi territory is located in the western part of Karelia. It is more convenient to consider the city of Suoyarvi and the surrounding lake and forest areas as a separate direction with a pre-selected base. The road to a particular location may differ markedly from the straight line distance.

For a nature walk, check the permitted route, the quality of the access and the availability of communications. Do not use an unknown forest road as a guaranteed passage for an ordinary car. When traveling without a car, separately agree on the last section from the station or stop to your accommodation.

When moving, check the home's year-round conditions and daily routes. In border areas of western Karelia, check the applicable access regime according to the official rules for the selected location; proximity to the border does not mean that the entire territory is the same in terms of visiting conditions.
