Segezha is connected with Vygozero and the pulp and paper industry. This is an independent city stop in central Karelia, and not a short exit from Sortavala. On a big trip, schedule travel, overnight and sightseeing days in advance.

Start with a city program and proven shore access. Production sites are not free attractions: an excursion or business visit is possible only according to the rules of the enterprise. For further travel to the White Sea, check the schedule and transfer times.
