City base
Sortavala is suitable for trips to Ruskeala and Northern Ladoga. Petrozavodsk - for walks around the capital and routes in central Karelia. Spending the night near the station and spending the night at the pier solve different problems: check the actual departure point of the excursion.
Out of town
A lake house provides a relaxing holiday, but may require a car and self-catering. Check the year-round access, parking, heating, water, connection stability and distance to the store. The phrase “on shore” does not imply safe entry into the water or the right to use any portion of the shore.
Before confirmation
Check the address, contractor details, check-in conditions, cancellations and the final price for all guests. Ask separately about children's places, animals and additional cleaning.
